**Mr. Stoltenberg Highlights Estonia's Contributions to Allied Security**

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg commended Estonia for its significant contributions to Allied security, noting that the country "leads by example by investing more than 3% of GDP on defense." He praised Estonia's "unprecedented" support for Ukraine and its commitment to continuing this support for years to come. The Secretary General also highlighted NATO's support for Estonia, which includes a multinational battlegroup in Tapa, fighter jet patrols, and the forthcoming deployment of an air defense battery by Spain.

Stoltenberg outlined the priorities for the upcoming NATO Summit, expressing his expectation that "Allied leaders will agree on a long-term pledge of support to Ukraine. This will provide Ukraine with greater predictability for the long haul." He added that the Summit would also focus on NATO's own deterrence and defense, stating: "We have agreed on new, more ambitious defense plans; Allies are delivering more forces at high readiness, investing in high-end capabilities; and this year, 23 Allies are going to invest more than 2% of GDP on defense, which is great progress." Finally, the Secretary General emphasized the importance of global partnerships to the Alliance, confirming that these will remain a key focus at Washington and beyond.
